Let me take you in past when you were just a small kid and had millions of questions and misconceptions in your head. Most of the time you must have asked your parents about it and they have also tried to answer your questions. It was that age when anything used to happen you would immediately tell your family and when they didn’t listen you, you must have been angry and when you grow up you starting sharing your happenings with your friends and now I am at a stage that I had opened my life to everyone of you through writing these blogs. The thing is that each of us wants to be heard that doesn’t matter you are young or old, each of us wants attention and affection.
Listening is not just for replying but to understand what the person is suffering and going through so always try to be a good listener and the person who is opening their life up to you means not just sharing their day. For someone it can be freeing their thoughts which they suffering for and for someone it can stop them from going in depression. We have made our head a bag that we keep dumping many things into it and then over thinking it which may lead to breakdown or your mental health deterioration but when you share what’s going in your mind it will free you and you will get suggestions on how to overcome problems. We often give importance to physical health but remember that mental health is also much more important. Again the thing comes of whom to share with so share it with a trustworthy person who will help you get over your problems or refreshes your mind or gives you another direction of seeing things.
Sharing doesn’t mean you will share your thoughts or sufferings with tons of people who doesn’t even care about you instead share it with that one person who truly understands you and supports you after all what matters is quality not quantity. Sometimes you are all alone and don’t understand what is happening to you or don’t want to share with anyone but that thing is eating you from inside at such time write it down, trust me it really works. When I was small and didn’t understand what is happening to me I used to write it down which used to clear my mind. The other you can do when you are stressed is play with your pet, feed them which seriously lightens your mood or you can play with a kid or with your sibling. At such times do what you love, give your hobbies an upper hand as it will make you feel great, fill you with positivity. Lastly have gratitude towards the people who you have in your life, who stood for you in your bad times and keep sharing!
