The End Game

Welcome to the End Game – the end of the world. The consistency with which we have been spoiling our planet will surely lead us to the dead end. It is so unfair that how we have described our planet as Mother Earth and ruined her by every possible way. We humans have become so selfish that we have literally forgotten that if Earth is destroyed we are also destroyed. Everyone is aware of the climatic changes that are occurring for which we humans are responsible. From past 20 years 6457 recorded disasters have occurred in countries like India, Indonesia, Philippines, US and China. The number has increased since past few years where India broke the record of number of cyclones hit which have turned to 7 in 2019. Over 950 climatic disasters have occurred in 102 countries mostly in Asia and Africa.

Day by day the situation is becoming worst – India and Bangladesh hit by Fani, Earthquake in China, Drought in Somalia, Iran floods affected 90% of the country. This will not just give rise to population displacement but tons of problems occur- people lose their family, disrupt accessibility of health care, food, water. The undue climatic changes give rise to infectious diseases which are uncontrollable. Along with these losses the country faces economic losses, everything gets disturbed. Everything has rules that we must follow else malfunction occurs, so does humans need to follow the laws in order to protect nature. There is rapid growth in industrialization which is great but the waste is not treated before dumping it, environmental bylaws are neglected which is only going to harm the living creatures on planet. Everything is going wrong- the climatic changes; extinct species came to an end; burning forests; cutting down of trees- we humans are creating hell for ourselves and for all the living creatures out there.

This surely needs to be stopped; we should take every possible step to stop this no matter how small it is. Say no to littering and say yes for planting more trees. You never know how your small steps will bring big changes. Stop using plastic and don’t feed animals in plastic bags as they don’t understand it is harmful for them so we must be careful. I have written this just to make everyone aware of the current situation and we still have time to overcome it and stop exploiting Earth for selfish reasons.
