Start It!

Every year we make resolutions but we hardly complete it. Not just resolutions but whenever you start with something new you do it for few days and then stop it, although you know that thing is beneficial for you. In the beginning it always seems difficult as you need more focus, energy,

but once you start with it you will understand, it was worth doing. Imagine you decide to go to gym/ going for a walk everyday; for first few days you will go with enthusiasm but then you get bored and then stop doing it or you will start making excuses. When you start with something it will be tough at initial days that don’t mean you will give up after all result matters. In order to be fit you need to take care of your health, exercise daily in the same way if you have to achieve something you need to give up on your bad habits or the things that are not beneficial for you.


Most of the times you don’t try because you feel you are not capable of doing that thing but you should remember that no one is born with talents; you need to develop them. The proverbs “No pain, No gain” and “Practice makes man perfect” completely suits in this situation. Starting something new means going out of your comfort zone, breaking those patterns which will surely open you to new opportunities as well as challenges but don’t be afraid of the challenges as they will help you grow. Sometimes it becomes hard to overcome fears as you are afraid of rejections or have a doubt in your mind ”What if I fail?” but don’t worry about rejections because you will get to know where you are lacking. We humans are not afraid of failure but we are afraid of people judging us when we face a failure. If you are lacking in something then do the things you are good at and practice the things where you lack. This will boost your confidence for sure and help you achieve things. Take an example that if you want to do friendship with someone but that person is stranger to you so by different ways you try to communicate with that person and that might feel difficult or whether it will work but when things fall in place you feel happy, blessed. In the same way you need to start new things although it might feel tough but you should try.

Now this thing also applies for your bad habits. You should try to stop them, have control over it and overcome your bad habits. At beginning it will be difficult as you are stuck with that habit from months/years but that doesn’t mean it is impossible to do so you should always try and remember not to give up so easily. At first you need to put efforts to make things happen and then you have to put efforts to make it work.
