I am always here with you- Book Review

“I am always here with you” a book written by Himanshu Rai who is also an author of “My Mute Girl Friend”, “Recollecting the End: Fingers Crossed”. The book genre is Romance and Fiction. Kartik and Ashima are madly in love with each other. The book starts with the scene where Kartik gets to know that his wife Ashima is pregnant and the story starts. Kartik fell for Ashima the very first time he saw her and he knew she was the one, his dream girl. The strangers then turned to friends and gradually their friendship turned into love. After a few years, they got married to each other. Ashima- his Angel became his support while Kartik became her Teddy. Kartik’s choice of being with Ashima brought distance between Kartik and his Father. Kartik’s stubbornness to be in Ashima’s life made him do a thing which was against his dad. Although he had a perfect love life his parents were not with him.

Ashima’s pregnancy brought happiness in their lives. Kartik took every effort to keep his Angel happy. Their love story was remarkable as both used to stand by each other in every odds, Kartik did extraordinary things which have made every reader girl fall in love with him. Every time, happiness is not accepted, life is full of joys and sorrows and so does this story have. During Ashima's pregnancy, Kartik called his parents to live with them. Kartik was not able to give his full time to Ashima and therefore wanted his parents to look after her. But one night an incident takes place which shatters their life. I can't spoil the suspense but what happened that Ashima marries someone else and Kartik accepts it willingly. You must be surprised and willing to know what must have happened that night. I was willing to know when I read the synopsis.

The starting is romantic just like the romance we read in most of the books. But as the story proceeds you will read about their present and past lives. The author switches from present to past based on the incidence and the scenes you read because of this you will get to know their love right from their school, how Kartik went against his dad and all. The book will make you emotional for sure. When you will reach in the middle of the book you will get a disclaimer which says "Don't read if you are a too emotional person." So be ready to experience it all. You may think that you have guessed the plot but after reading the end you will realize that it is different. The lines are beautifully written and in easy to understand language. The words will make you cry and fall in love with the characters of the story. Every couple fights but you will see all the cute things and no arguments which had bothered me and which may bother you. The story is about the deep love that knows no bounds and a promise- I am always here with you.
